Estiquik Ideas

Homeowners browse the work. Every photo leads to you.

estiquik.com/ideas is a gallery of finished projects from contractors with a showcase page — kitchens, bathrooms, basements, additions, decks — each with the price of the actual job, and the going rate for each kind of job once enough contractors have priced theirs.

Real prices, not guessesEach photo carries the price you gave for the finished job, before tax, and enough priced jobs make a going rate homeowners can budget with. Houzz shows the look; Ideas shows the look and what it cost.
Credited and linkedEvery project shows your business name and opens on your own page, with your enquiry form beside it.
Fair to small shopsAt most six projects per contractor on the main Ideas page, newest first — one big firm can't fill it.
Yours to take outUntick Ideas on any project, or unpublish it, and it is gone from the gallery.

Illustrations, not real projects. Ideas is new: it starts with contractors in Southwestern Ontario and grows as pages are published.

Find a pro

Subs and trades get a page too. Contractors invite them to bid.

Choose “Contractors hire me” and your page is listed in Find a pro at estiquik.com/pros, under Trades & subs, by trade and by the towns you work in — electricians, plumbers, HVAC, drywall, tile and the rest — with your credentials and finished jobs. It stays out of Ideas, which is for homeowners.

Invite to bid, in one clickA contractor on Pro clicks Invite to bid on your page. You go into their Subs list with the email you chose for bid invites, and a bid package opens with you on it.
Answer from the emailThe package arrives with the scope, drawings and due date. You bid from the link, with no account needed — the way subs bid on Estiquik packages today.
Free for tradesThe page, the listing and the bid invites cost a trade nothing. Sending bid packages is part of Pro and Crew, for the contractor.

Find a pro is new and starts in Southwestern Ontario. Every published page is in it, renovation contractors too, on every plan. Licences, insurance and WSIB show as each business states them.

Twenty minutes, once

How to get it working for you

Set it up once. After that, every finished job is a project to add and a client to ask.

STEP 1

Claim your link

Showcase page in the sidebar. Pick the part after estiquik.com/pros/ — the same name as your booking page if you have one.

STEP 2

Add three projects

Your best recent jobs, with the homeowner's OK. Wide shots, before-and-afters, a couple of details. A price on each.

STEP 3

Ask five clients for a review

Pick a client, copy the link and the ready-made message, text it. Clients on the portal are asked when they sign off.

STEP 4

Share it everywhere you are

Instagram bio, Facebook, Google Business Profile, email signature, estimates and invoices, a QR sticker on the truck.

On Pro, the booking page adds a Book a site visit button, and the AI receptionist answers the calls the page sends you when you're on the tools.

Where it stops

What the showcase page is

It is…

  • A page you send people toThe link in your bio, your signature and on your estimates — so the homeowner who already heard of you sees the work and asks for a price.
  • Honest about reviewsAll of them show. Each says how the reviewer is connected to a job. You reply; you can't pick.
  • FreeOn every plan, for as long as you have an account.
  • YoursYour photos with the homeowner's OK, your words, your prices. Unpublish it any time.

It isn't…

  • A lead marketplaceEstiquik doesn't sell leads, ads or placement. Ideas sends homeowners your way; it won't bring Houzz-level traffic, and we won't pretend it does.
  • An Instagram feedNothing is copied or embedded from Instagram. Link your account, upload the photos you own.
  • An awards schemeNo badges, no "best of". Credentials print as stated by your business.
  • A website builderOne page with your projects and a contact form. Keep your own website; link both ways.

A free page that shows what you've built, what it usually costs and what your clients said — and passes every enquiry straight to you. See how it sits next to Houzz Pro.

Before you ask

Questions contractors ask

Is the showcase page really free?

Yes. It is on the Free plan and every paid plan, with no card and no time limit. The Book a site visit button on the page needs the booking page, which is on Pro; without it the page carries an enquiry form and your phone number.

Where do the photos come from?

From you. Upload them in Showcase page in the sidebar, or pick them from the site log of a finished job. Each project needs you to tick that the homeowner agreed to the photos being public. Estiquik does not copy or embed anything from Instagram; your Instagram can be linked from the page.

Can I hide a bad review?

No. Every review shows, newest first, and you can reply to any of them publicly. You can switch reviews off for the whole page, but not pick which ones appear. Each review says how the reviewer is connected to you: a verified job signed off in the portal, a client with a signed estimate, or a client you invited.

How are the typical prices worked out?

From your own signed or approved estimates in Estiquik: for each kind of job with at least 3, the page shows the middle half of the totals, rounded, before tax. It is off until you switch it on, and no single price, client or address is ever shown.

What happens when a homeowner sends an enquiry?

It arrives in your inbox with their name, how to reach them and what they wrote, and becomes a new lead in Leads (Starter and up). Estiquik does not reply for you and does not sell or share their details. Enquiries are spam-checked and capped per hour and per day.

What is Estiquik Ideas?

A public gallery at estiquik.com/ideas of finished projects from contractors with a showcase page, each with the price of the job and a link to the contractor who built it. Homeowners can narrow it by town and budget, and once 5 projects of one kind are priced by 3 or more contractors, the page shows the going rate for that kind of job. Every project is in it unless you untick it. It is new and starts with contractors in Southwestern Ontario.

Can a sub or trade contractor have a page?

Yes, free. In the Showcase page editor, choose Contractors hire me, pick up to four trades and say where bid invites should go. Your page is listed in Find a pro at estiquik.com/pros, under Trades & subs, by trade and by the towns you work in, with an Invite to bid button. A contractor on Pro or Crew who clicks it gets you in their Subs list with that email, and their bid packages reach you there. You answer from the link, with no account needed. Your projects stay out of Ideas, and the email is never shown on your page.

Will Google list my page?

Once it is published with at least 2 projects with photos and an About of 120 characters or more, the page is open to search engines and listed in Estiquik's sitemap, with business markup for your name, area and phone. Until then it works for anyone with the link but asks search engines not to list it.
