◆ Jobber alternative

Jobber charges by the seat.
Estiquik charges by the business.

Jobber is excellent software for a service fleet — dispatch, routing, GPS, online booking — and it is priced like one: $49 a month for one person, $29 for every extra user, and expenses, QuickBooks and job costing on the $139 and $199 tiers. Estiquik does the renovation contractor's half of that job: templates that arrive priced for your region, change orders, receipts, contracts, scheduling and job costing on one $29.99 plan, and up to ten people for a flat $69.99.

An honest split

Where each one genuinely wins

Pick Jobber if you need…

  • To dispatch crews to many visits a dayRouting, GPS tracking, timesheets and geofenced timers. Estiquik has a calendar, not a dispatch board.
  • Automated client reminders and two-way textingQuote follow-ups, appointment reminders, SMS conversations. We email documents and stop there.
  • Online booking from your websiteClients pick a slot themselves. Not something Estiquik does.
  • Tap to Pay and bank payments2.7% + 30¢ in person, 1% ACH in the US. Estiquik takes cards online only.
  • A marketplace of integrations and a big support teamZapier, Gusto, Xero, DocuSign, Home Depot, and 1-on-1 support on every plan.

Pick Estiquik if you want…

  • The estimate priced before you start typingSeven renovation templates carry labour and material rates for your state or province.
  • One flat price for the whole crewTen logins for $69.99. On Jobber, ten people with expenses is $299 a month.
  • Change orders that adjust the contract valuePriced, signed and tracked against the original estimate — not a PDF template.
  • Job costing and markup without the $199 tierQuoted, invoiced, spent and margin per job on Pro at $29.99.
  • Card money in your own Stripe accountSame 2.9% + 30¢ rate, but the account and the payout schedule are yours, not the platform's.
  • A price that stays putStart by 31 October 2026 and your rate is held for 24 months. Jobber's terms allow a change on 14 days' notice.

What Estiquik does not have yet

So nobody finds out after switching: there is no dispatch, routing, GPS or time tracking; no online booking; no automated client reminders or two-way SMS; no Tap to Pay or ACH; and no integration marketplace beyond QuickBooks Online and Stripe. If you run a service fleet rather than a renovation business, Jobber is the right tool and we would rather you knew now.

We also apply one tax rate per document rather than Jobber's named rates and tax groups. It is auto-filled for your state or province and editable, which suits most renovation invoices, but if you routinely tax materials and not labour on the same invoice, Jobber handles that more neatly.

Moving over

Switching from Jobber takes an evening, not a season

The importer was built against Jobber's own export files and import templates. You can run both apps for a month if you would rather move slowly.

STEP 1

Export from Jobber

Clients → More Actions → Export Clients (CSV). Then Insights → Reports → Invoice Report → Export to CSV. Step-by-step in Help.

STEP 2

Import into Estiquik

Drop the files on the Import page, clients first. Jobber writes one row per client and property; the importer folds those back into one client and keeps each site address. Free on every plan.

STEP 3

Price the next job from a template

Pick the kitchen, bathroom or basement template, check the regional rates against your last invoice, and adjust. Your edits become your baseline.

STEP 4

Invite the crew, connect Stripe

On Crew, invite up to ten people by email. Link your Stripe account once, and every invoice can carry a Pay button.

Saved card details cannot move between systems, on any platform — they live with the payment processor. Clients pay their next invoice by tapping the Pay button on it.

Before you ask

Questions contractors ask when they compare the two

Is Estiquik a full replacement for Jobber?

For a renovation contractor — estimates, invoices, deposits, one-click client approvals, card payments, contracts, change orders, expenses, receipts, a job calendar, job costing and QuickBooks Online — yes. For a service fleet that needs dispatch, routing, GPS, online booking, automated reminders or two-way SMS — no. The table above lists both honestly.

Why is Estiquik so much cheaper for a team?

We do not sell seats. Crew is one subscription for up to ten people because a renovation crew shares one set of clients, estimates and invoices, and charging for each pair of hands that looks at them never felt right. The trade-off is real: we do not have Jobber's dispatch, automation or integration marketplace, and we are new.

Does Jobber really not have change orders?

We could not find a dedicated change-order feature in Jobber's help centre. Jobber's own guidance offers a downloadable change-order template and suggests recording changes in the job details or issuing a new quote. Estiquik's change orders are priced, signed by the client, and roll into the contract value so the final invoice matches what was agreed. Check Jobber's current feature list; it can change.

Are the card fees different?

No. Both charge 2.9% + 30¢ on an online card payment. The difference is where the money lands: Jobber Payments pays out on Jobber's schedule, while Estiquik connects your own Stripe account, so the balance, payouts and statements are yours. Jobber also offers Tap to Pay at 2.7% + 30¢ and 1% ACH in the US, which we do not.

Does Jobber bill in Canadian dollars?

Jobber's pricing page shows USD, even from Canada, and we could not find published CAD subscription prices. Estiquik bills Canadian accounts in CAD: Starter CA$24.99, Pro CA$34.99, Crew CA$79.99 a month.

Can I leave Estiquik as easily as I can join it?

Every list exports to CSV or JSON on every plan, there is no notice period, and card payments live in your own Stripe account, so nothing about your money depends on us. Cancel from the billing page whenever you like.
